Between the Via Francigena and the Via del Sale is where “Be Tuscan for a Day” was born and grows.
The project involves the towns of the Val d’Elsa area, from the more famous San Gimignano and Monteriggioni to jems like Poggibonsi, Colle Val d’Elsa, Radicondoli and Casole d’Elsa, well under way on touristic development; to these ones Volterra is added, territorially linked to Pisa but culturally near to the Val d’Elsa’s towns. This territory represents a unique turistic destination because of its ancient and new transport routes, for its cultural and panoramic heritage: its history is old and wide and cannot just be told, it must be lived.

“Be Tuscan for a Day”s aim is to guarantee usability and visibility to the whole range of activities that can be experienced in this particular Tuscany area, to discove the history, the traditions, the habits that since many centuries live.
A sustainable way of turistic proposals, so different from the many sensationalizations of cultural heritage, characterized by quality, authencity, TUSCANICITY, to directly link you to the beating heart of this piece of Tuscan land, and give you the possibilty to feel a real Tuscan, even if just for one day.
