On the 10th of June the Mercatale della Valdelsa becomes the occasion to enjoy a showcooking mixing the local taste of the Cinta Senese breed with the exotic one of the Shiitake mushrooms!
The market of local farmers will take place from 8:00am to 1:00pm in Piazza Matteotti, while the dishes of the showcooking will start to be ready from 10:30am.
You could meet the ones who brings the best products in the area, looking at them working and tasting the results of their work, exemples of quality, goodness and health: did you know the Sjiitake mushroom – which has oriental origins – was named during the Ming dinasty as the long-life elixir?
Biologically cultivated by La Suvera BIO farm, this particular kind of mushroom posses many qualities, included the one of being tied with the very-tasty Cinta Senese, produced by the Laboratorio Rurale di Magno Vigni farm!
