Claudia Margheri is a local food and wine expert who lives and works in San Gimignano. She works in the tourist industry and is on a mission to show visitors the real Tuscany. She runs a varied tourism program that brings people into contact with the passions, values and lives of the local community. She promotes the region’s ancient and modern art and history; its classic food and wine; local religious and spiritual itineraries; artistic, musical, literary and cinematographic works of art; a variety of family-friendly locations; extraordinary local landscapes full of walking, cycling and horse-riding routes and, most of all, the men and women who live and work here and make Tuscany the place it is today.
