Riccardo Panelli is one of the founding members of the FattoriaSociale La Mattonaia: an innovative ‘social’ farm which aims to promote rural lifestyles as a kind of positive social therapy. This unique ‘social agriculture’ projectcombines farming, socio-educational courses and therapeutic activities.
La Mattonaia is a non-certified organic farm that uses both ancient farming techniques and modern innovations. No chemicals are used and crops are cultivated depending on the season. The farm produces seasonal vegetables, honey, aromatic herbs and some livestock.
