Eraldo Ammannati is a street theater expert with an extensive background in historical re-enactments, with a particular focus on ancient traditional artisans. As well organizing the annual ‘Monteriggioni di Torri si corona’ festival, Eraldo also organizes other medieval festivals all over Italy. He founded the Associazione Agresto, working as Vice President and Artistic Director, and has also been part of the European Association for the Via Francigena, representing Monteriggioni and surrounding area. He is also a key member of the Tuscan Association for the Via Francigena. Furthermore, Eraldo has an in-depth knowledge of life in Monteriggioni, drawing on and forging links between all the region’s various historical associations. He is currently President of AD 1213 and Artistic Director of the annual Medieval Festival in Monteriggioni.
